Power, solitude and anonymity are key elements in the work of visual artist joachim devillé. he paints and draws locations, situations and characters: interiors, exteriors and facades of buildings, landscapes, objects and characters are frozen to a banal, neutral and anonymous appearance, but a poetic glow adds a feeling of mystery to these everyday scenes.
